Come Away With Me, A word to start your week
As I looked to the Lord when I woke this morning I asked Him for a fresh word to share with you to start your week. He faithfully answered with a picture of Him playfully running into the wild hoping I would chase after Him. He was saying... 'Come away with me..."
In Song of Songs this picture is one of romance, in Mark this same picture is one of rest. In Songs it's the bride who is asking to run away together, in Mark it is Jesus who calls His loved ones away.
Does your heart long to encounter Jesus? Ask your King to whisk you away to His chambers for love sake and He will answer by calling you away for rest. He is so FAITHFUL. He is waiting for us to want spiritually intimate time with Him. When we ask He is faithful to draw us deeper to drink from secret wells, away from the pressing world.
