Salted Honey Fried Apple Hand Pies

Oh my goodness. Close your eyes and think of apple picking in your favorite orchard on a crisp fall day, then baking in your grandma's kitchen in between laughs and hugs with messy floured hands. That's what these perfect Autumn hand pies taste like.

Ella and I made these together live on facebook. She threw a tantrum, the smoke alarms went off-twice, and the video had no sound which I didn't discover until much later. But the pies? They honestly couldn't get any better unless maybe you decided to grab a bowl and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
