Shemen HaMishchah, or Anointing Oils, are favorite of Emerald customers! All essential oils and carrier oils are anointing oils in my opinion, but these are specifically blended to be as close as the biblical 'recipes' as possible according to the research I've done at the inspiration of the Ruach HaKodesh. (The Holy Spirit.) It took months and months to get these off the ground, much longer than anticipated. Almost as if unseen forces didn't want them to become available! Hmmm. But YHWH!
 
 
This Revelation Salve comes from Revelation 3:18, "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see."
 
 
This is Jesus speaking to the Laodacian church who were very busy with worldy riches and things. He was telling them to shift their FOCUS to the spiritual riches that really count. Gold represents faith through trials, white garments represent holiness and purity, and the EYE SALVE....
 
It is much needed spiritual sight and discernment! They were spirutally blind to the truth, the spirit realm, and to what really mattered.
 
The crazy thing is, that area was actually known for producing and selling medicinal eye salve! We could assume that many of them probably had some, but this is not the salve Jesus was talking about. He was telling them to let go of the culture around them and wake up to the truth spiritually, before it was too late.
 
Will this eye salve wake you up spiritually? Of course not, on it's own it will do no such thing. But if you anoint yourself in faith and prayer and use this as a reminder to SEEK YESHUA and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FIRST, every morning or evening as you breathe in the aroma, I believe you will find that the things of this world grow strangely dim, as your spiritual eyes open to what is really important.
 
This is especially important in these last days that we are living in. Time is short and we need to fix our eyes and draw our focus to the only thing that really matters....Christ is coming soon!The oils in Revelation Salve are listed in alphabetical order along with their spiritual and/or skincare benefits.
 
 
Bay Laurel- Laurel wreaths were given to the winners of the althletic games during the time of Paul's writings and he would've been very familiar with their usage. The imagry is especially clear in 2 Timothy 2: 5 where a "victor's crown" is mentioned by him in reference to a believer running the race of faith as to WIN. That means ignoring every obstacle and keeping our eye on the prize-our glorious wedding to our Bridegroom and life everlasting with Him!
 
 
Geranium-Although not mentioned specifically in scripture, Geraniums grow all along the Mediterranean Sea where the churches mentioned in Revelation were physcially located. I chose this sweet, floral-scented oil to remind us that His message to the Laodicean church no matter how far removed it seems, like the city itself, is a direct message for us today. (As well as all of the other letters to the churches!)
 
 
Grapefruit-Have you ever heard of an Etrog? It's the fruit that YHWH told the Hebrews to wave before Him (along with myrtle and fern) during the celebration of Sukkot. It is a CITRUS fruit, and since Etrog oil is not available, I chose Grapefruit for it's similar qualities.
 
Biblically, the etrog represent the human heart and pure surrender. So I pray for you as Paul prayed in Ephesians 1: 18-19, "I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe."
 
Sandalwood- called aloes in the bible, is a deep, woodsy and expensive oil that has nothing at all in common with what we know as aloe. Sandalwood is one of the oils that Nicodemus used to prepare Jesus's body for burial in John 19:39-40. Scripture tells us it was about 100lbs in weight, that is the equivalent of about $200,000 of Sandalwood oil in todays market! I am tearing up as I write this. Jesus was already dead and as far as Nicodemus knew, He was not coming back, but he loved Him so much that we was willing to surrender a large portion of his wealth to bury him! Would we be willing to do that today?
 
THIS story is the message of the eye salve. The Rev. 3:18 scripture starts with saying this..."You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.... That is the very opposite of what Nicodemus was after his transformation in Jesus, evidenced by when he poured out his worldly riches at His burial. Breathe it in as you draw your focus to our Savior, remembering what He did for us and how He is truly, worthy of it all...In a base of organic

Pomegranate Seed-Jewish tradition teaches that the pomegranate is a symbol for righteousness, because it is said to have 613 seeds which correspond with the 613 mitzvot or commandments of the Torah. Pomegranate is one of the seven species the spies brought back with them to show how fertile the Promised Land was. It speaks of God's favor exhibited in fruitfulness and abundance.
Rosehip Seed-is anti-aging, reduces sun spots, smooths and reduces acne scars & stretch marks and is anti-inflammatory.
 
Sweet Almond-can heal superficial skin burns, boost collagen production, keeps skin hydrated and supple, and protect against potential damage caused by UV radiation. Biblically, Almond blossoms were to be used as part of the Lord's instructions when building the temple (Exodus 37:19) and almonds were plentifully and represented a hastening, maybe to obedience.Each anointing oil also contains ethically sourced, pure mineral mica.
